Wow, this is great: first blog of the semester, and first comment wall of the semester... and also such a great background image for the blog. Very nice! I re-opened D2L there if you want to keep on going, and I guess I better update the class announcements. Happy travels!
Hello again, Justin! I love the layout of your blog. The background isn't just a plain, solid color, which is great! It also really seems to go along with all of your great travel experiences--as does the St. Augustine quote. The sidebar with the weather widget is really creative! I haven't seen that on anyone else's blog. That's a pretty cool addition for anyone who might stumble upon your blog that isn't in our class! Your stories are great, and so is your layout! Keep it up!
Justin, I like the your blog design as well! The background is gorgeous and I like that the font color of the links and titles is blue (since it's my favorite color :D). I also like that you have your mythology pinterest board pinned on the sidebar. The weather widget is great too since I can check the weather while I'm going through your stories! Currently, it's 59 F. It's about to get a bit cooler in Norman, yay!
Justin, as I had mentioned earlier I really enjoy your blog layout. I think the the mountain view is perfect for a reading blog. It is very relaxing. I enjoy the blue hues and I really like that you have the weather widget. I think that is very unique and it blends very nicely with the rest of your blog as it is a map. From reading your introduction I can tell that you like to travel and your blog definitely conveys that. The only thing that I would suggest is perhaps changing the font color of your Labels. The blue font can make it a little difficult to read as it camouflages with the rest of the background. Nevertheless, excellent layout.
Hi, Justin! Since you left a comment on my wall, I'd thought it only fair that I reciprocate and, boy, I certainly wasn't disappointed! Your background is beautiful and the two children in your profile pic are adorable, too! The blue font color matches so well with your background - excellent! Also, your posts are wonderfully formatted and so easy to read :)
So I have not been to your blog in a while because you finished early, but that is one reason I kept coming back. Since you finished the entire class so early it gave me a little boost to get ahead! Clearly, it was not enough of a boost because I am still here and still writing. Hope you have enjoyed your free time without working on this class!
Hey Justin, I think it is awesome that you have all of your points for this class. It is unbelievable to me that you have so much going on from what I read on your introduction, and still had time to work ahead. I love looking at your pinterest board and finding really great pictures. I liked that even though you worked ahead, you did not lose the quality of everything you have written. Enjoy the rest of your semester!
Hi, Justin! I really appreciated your work and comments this semester, so I felt like I should include you in the last week of extra credit blog comments. I also really admired how quickly you finished up this class. It’s obvious you put a lot of hard work into it, and all of your work turned out really well. Nicely done! I hope the rest of your semester goes really well!
I am writing this comment on your wall because of why I appreciate your work in this class. I appreciate it because I always liked your stories. You thought outside the box and would write a story that is really good. I would read them and it made me want to write stories like that. I wish I made more effort in this class to create better stories. I hope at this end to read all your stories in your portfolio. Have a nice semester.
